You can tell a lot about someone by the way they gift. So we’re unwrapping the best, the worst and the weirdest to find out.
In Gift List, Angela Scanlon gets to know familiar faces through the things they’ve given, received and never forgotten. First up is Louis Theroux, legendary documentarian, tickle aficionado, sometimes-nervous gifter and self-proclaimed ‘master of awkwardness’.
And there’s plenty to unwrap. Louis reveals the present that brings him to tears, the one that might just repair a family rift, and what it’s like to be spectacularly out-gifted by Tom Cruise.
